A druid is a member of a pre-Christian priest’s cult in ancient Britain, France and Wales. In modern day pop culture, druids are portrayed as mystical creatures with magical abilities.

Cloaked in white silk garments and flowing beards, druids raised several attempts in the ancient era to continue dominancy of their radically conservative views. In modern day period, there have been several attempts to revive the cult.

Druid has the following definitions:
1. A member of an order of priests in ancient Gaul and Britain who appear in Welsh and Irish legend as prophets and sorcerers.
2. A member of any of several modern movements attempting to revive druidism.

Usage of druid:
1. Druid priests made human sacrifices to appease their gods.
2. When Caesar came to Britain he wrote about local druids.
