Answers 1: (c) To solve this one needs to proceed further after considering one of the statements to be true and then validating all the other statements spoken by the other inhabitants. The statement which does not contradict with any of the other statements, becomes the true answer.

Here we can see that if we consider Lalit’s 2nd statement true then Ramu 2nd Statement will be false that will make us easy to solve this question

And if Lalit 1st statement is false this means that Lalit is married to Lala. So, Lala 2nd statement is False. As none contradict, we get the following table:

“Lalit is married to Lala” is the correct statement. Hence option (c) is correct.

Answers 2: (b) Let us assume first part of the first statement to be true then second part will be false. If we relate these results with second and then third statements assuming one part to be true and other false. Then we will find that answer is Maya.

On the contrary, if we assume first half of the first statement to be false and second to be true then there will be two answers Jerry and Kanishka, which cannot be true. Hence the correct answer is Maya. Hence option (b) is correct.

Answers 3: (b)

This case contradicts the statement given in question that Bhanu is wearing a red shirt

It is clear that Bhanu is the chief, because in this case All statements fit correctly. Hence option (b) is correct.

Answers 4: (b)

Option (b) is the only correct statement. To solve this one needs to proceed further after considering one of the statements to be true and then validating all the other statements spoken by the other inhabitants.

The statement which does not contradict with any of the other statements, becomes the true answer.

We can see that this case of true statement is not contradicting with any statement. Hence option (b) is correct.
