Answer 1: (E) Evaluating the first two statements, we get that Galzar and Darton will have to be kept in the first Pen provided that either of them is kept in first Pen. (OR when Darton is not kept in second Pen) From 3 & 4 statements, we can conclude that Ashi & Burma would be indifferent Pens no matter what happens.

Given that Emeri and Faza are in different Pens, we evaluate the options given to us while keeping the above conclusions in mind. Now since Galzar and Darton have to be kept together & Ashi and Burma should be kept separated, we are left with only possibility- Pen 2- Emeri + Galzar + Darton + Ashi/Burma Pen 1- Faza + Cumin + Burma/Ashi

Option A can be true as: The puppies in Pen 2 could be Emeri, Galzar, Darton and Ashi. The puppies in Pen 1 could be Faza, Cumin and Burma. Option B can be true as: The puppies in Pen 2 could be Emeri, Galzar, Darton and Ashi. The puppies in Pen 1 could be Faza, Cumin and Burma. Option C can be true as: The puppies in Pen 2 could be Emeri, Galzar, Darton and Ashi. The puppies in Pen 1 could be Faza, Cumin and Burma. Option D can be true as: The puppies in Pen 2 could be Emeri, Galzar, Darton and Burma The puppies in Pen 1 could be Faza, Cumin and Ashi.

Now since Galzar and Darton have to be kept together & Ashi and Burma should be kept separated, we are left with only possibility- Pen 2- Emeri + Galzar + Darton + Ashi/Burma Pen 1- Faza + Cumin + Burma/Ashi Hence, Option E cannot be true as it means Cumin is in Pen 2, which will make the above combinations impossible.

The correct option is (E).

Answer 2: (D) Evaluating the first two statements, we get that Galzar and Darton will have to be kept together in the first Pen provided that either of them is kept in first Pen. (OR when Darton is not kept in second Pen) From 3 & 4 statements, we can conclude that Ashi & Burma would be indifferent Pens no matter what happens. Option A: The given group of puppies cannot be in Pen 2 as Burma and Ashi cannot be together in Pen 1. Option B: The given group of puppies cannot be in Pen 2 as Burma and Ashi cannot be together in Pen 2. Option C: The given group of puppies cannot be in Pen 2 as if Darton is not kept in Pen 2, then Galzar is kept in Pen 1 and in this case Galzar is put in Pen 2. Option D: The given group of puppies can be in Pen 2. Option E: The given group of puppies cannot be in Pen 2 as if Darton is not kept in Pen 2, then Galzar is kept in Pen 1 and in this case Galzar is put in Pen 2. The correct option is (D).

Answer 3: (B) Evaluating the first two statements, we get that Galzar and Darton will have to be kept together in the first Pen provided that either of them is kept in first Pen. (OR when Darton is not kept in second Pen) From 3 & 4 statements, we can conclude that Ashi & Burma would be indifferent Pens no matter what happens.

Given that Emeri shares a Pen with Faza- Option A is not necessarily true as: The puppies in Pen 1 could be Emeri, Faza and Burma. The puppies in Pen 2 could be Galzar, Darton, Ashi and Cumin. Option B is necessarily true as: Given that Emeri and Faza are together. Also, Ashi and Burma have to be in different Pens and Galzar and Darton are in the group. So we have two combinations which should be necessarily true- 1) Pen 1- Galzar + Darton + Ashi/Burma and Pen 2- Faza + Emeri + Burma/Ashi 2) Pen 1- Faza + Emeri + Burma/Ashi And Pen 2- Galzar + Darton + Ashi/Burma Hence whatever be the case, Cumin’s will always be in Pen 2.

Option C may not be necessarily true as: The puppies in Pen 1 could be Galzar, Darton and Ashi. The puppies in Pen 2 could be Emeri, Faza, Cumin and Burma.

Option D is not necessarily true as: The puppies in Pen 1 could be Galzar, Darton and Ashi. The puppies in Pen 2 could be Emeri, Faza, Cumin and Burma.

Option E is not necessarily true as: The puppies in Pen 1 could be Galzar, Darton and Ahlen. The puppies in Pen 2 could be Emeri, Faza, Cumin and Burma.

The correct option is (B).
