Well, who started this trend, could be anyone’s guess. It is like one day someone sat, opened the Facebook page and just did it out of sheer curiosity. However, no matter what the reason, now there are hundreds of people doing the same. It is like giving voice to animals, which is entirely fascinating for me at least.

The article does a wonderful job of highlighting the ills of society and more importantly, what are the challenges that an advanced nation like the US faces. Its startling in a way because it highlights the kind of race-based violence that non-Americans have to face in a society which is essentially the most diverse in the world.
