Summary:

Every human being has the right to be what he is and not be attacked for it. Obama’s support must have given strength to the gay right campaigners and it also means that there is a ray of hope in this regard. May be sooner than later same sex marriages will be recognised in America too.

Well, yes, you can perhaps learn the basics of accounting and a language from a book, but learning it at a length, so that it comes to a use, is better learnt in a structured class, at least for some people. So, if you thought degrees are useless, then the answer is not what you expected it to be!
