4. Kumbhabhishekam of Brihadeeswarar temple

The ‘kumbhabhishekam’ of the Brihadeeswara temple was held in Thanjavur.
Brihadishvara Temple, also called Rajarajesvaram or PeruvudaiyārKōvil, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva located in South bank of Kaveri river in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India.
It is one of the largest South Indian temples and an exemplary example of a fully realized Dravidian architecture.

1. Greta Thunberg nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Swedish teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg has been nominated for Nobel Peace Prize 2020.
She founded the Fridays for Future movement.
She has encouraged students to skip school to join protests demanding faster action on climate change.

2. New Prime Minister of Kosovo

Albin Kurti has been elected as the new Prime Minister of Kosovo.
Kosovo, officially the Republic of Kosovo, is a partially-recognized state in Southeast Europe, subject to a territorial dispute with the Republic of Serbia.
