1. National Ayurveda Day Celebrations Announced:

  • Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal has unveiled plans for a month-long festivity in honor of the 8th National Ayurveda Day, set for November 10, 2023.
  • The intention is to enlighten students, farmers, and the public about Ayurveda’s virtues. The day pays homage to Lord Dhanvantari, seen as the deity of Ayurveda and is synchronized with the Dhanteras festival.
  • The slogan for 2023 is “Ayurveda for every aspect of life” reflecting its holistic application.

2. Operation Ajay to Safeguard Indians in Israel:

  • To ensure the security of Indians in Israel amid rising regional tensions, Operation Ajay has been instated as announced by Dr. S Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister.
  • Provisions include special flights and comprehensive communication plans. A dedicated Control Room has also been set up to oversee and support affected Indians.

3. Animated Series Highlighting Freedom Fighters Launched:
