1. Revocation of CPR’s FCRA Registration by Home Ministry
- The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has cancelled the FCRA registration of the New Delhi-based Centre for Policy Research (CPR), citing violations of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2020.
- This prominent policy think-tank, led by Yamini Aiyar, daughter of Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar, had its FCRA license initially suspended for 180 days last year, which was later extended by another 180 days.

2. India’s Year-Long Ramayan Festival
