Nostalgia

Meanings of Nostalgia:

1. A bittersweet longing for things, persons, or situations of the past.
2. The condition of being homesick; homesickness.

This advert just had one effect on me: it took me back into my childhood and brought with it all the memories of my childhood. It made me ‘nostalgic’. It brought back all the bittersweet memories of the past, the times when we used to stick to Doordarshan and wait for its programs for kids. That was some time and had some memories.

This type of emotion , when you want to revisit your past, and experience this longing, is known as nostalgia.
