Answers and Explanations

Solution- From the given table, we may form the following table-

Answer 1. (C)

From the table it is shown that percentage growth is least for higher secondary books i.e. 26%.

Answer 2. (C)

Since we can see that the answer options are not so much closed to each other so we can take the approximate values. so required ratio = (68600 – 42000) 100 / 42000 = 2650 / 42 = 63%

Answer 3. (D)

There is a constant growth though primary level books, but it has declined in the year 1993. But except for the year 1992 , Secondary and Higher secondary level books have shown a consistent increase. But from all the graduate level books have shown a consistent growth over the period.

Answer 4. (B)

From the given table in answer we can see that the percentage growth rate is maximum for secondary level books i.e.128%.
