- ‘Scooby-Doo’ Co-creator Ken Spears has passed away.
- Charles Kenneth Spears was an American television writer, producer and sound editor. With Joe Ruby, he co-founded television animation production company Ruby-Spears Productions. Earlier in their partnership, the two men created the Scooby-Doo franchise for Hanna-Barbera.

- Indian Super League (ISL) outfit FC Goa have entered into a new partnership with Red Bull Leipzig of Germany.
