- AdventureNext India 2018 event was concluded in Madhya Pradesh.
- Theme :- ‘Pulse of Tomorrow’
- It was organised by The Adventure Travel Trade Association and Madhya Pradesh Tourism.
2. Twitter Account ‘@CyberDost’
- Home Ministry has launched a Twitter account named ‘@CyberDost’.
- The aim is to enhance people’s basic knowledge about cybercrimes and precautions to be taken.
3. New Mizoram Chief Minister
- Zoramthanga, chief of Mizo National Front will be sworn in on 15th December as Chief Minister of Mizoram.
- This will be his third stint as chief minister of the northeastern state, having led the MNF government in Mizoram in 1998 and 2003. Mr Tawnluia will be the deputy chief minister.

1. World’s first floating nuclear plant
- Akademik Lomonosov is a non-self-propelled power ship to be operated as the first Russian floating nuclear power station. The ship was named after Academician Mikhail Lomonosov.
- Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation, the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, or the Rosatom State Corporation, is a Russian state corporation headquartered in Moscow that specializes in nuclear energy.
2. Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence
- European Union has established India’s 1st Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in New Delhi.
- It is installed at Department of European Studies at Manipal Academy of Higher Education in New Delhi.
3. International Universal Health Coverage Day
- International Universal Health Coverage Day was observed on December 12.
- Theme :- ‘Unite for Universal Health Coverage: Now is the Time for Collective Action’.

1. Rajiv Mehrishi as Vice-Chair of UN Panel of Auditors
- Rajiv Mehrishi (CAG) has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the UN Panel of Auditors for 2 years ending (Till June 30, 2020).
- Rajiv Mehrishi is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer of 1978 batch belonging to Rajasthan cadre. He is the current Comptroller and Auditor General of India and Chairman of United Nations Board of Auditors.
2. Asian Development Outlook (2018)
- ‘Asian Development Outlook (2018)’ has been released by Asian Development Bank.
- India’s GDP Growth forecast for FY19 is 7.3% and for FY20 is 7.6%.

3. Climate Change Performance Index 2019
- Sweden has topped the Index with 4th rank. No countries were in the top three ranks
- India is at 11th position.

- This Index is compiled by the New Climate Institute, Climate Action Network and Germanwatch.
4. Light Utility Helicopter by HAL
- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has indigenously developed Light Utility Helicopter which can fly at 6 km altitude in Bengaluru.
- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is an Indian state-owned aerospace and defence company headquartered in Bangalore, India. It is governed under the management of the Indian Ministry of Defence.

1. Aga Khan Gold Cup
- Hockey Academy of SAIL has won 115th All India Aga Khan Gold Cup hockey tournament.
- SAIL has defeated Army XI Danapur 2-1 in the final at Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium in New Delhi.
2. ‘Meethoileima’ Title to Mary Kom
- Manipur Govt. has honoured Boxer Mary Kom with ‘Meethoileima’ title.
- Mary Kom is an Indian Olympic boxer from Manipur. She is the only woman to become World Amateur Boxing champion for a record six times, and the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each one of the seven world championships.
3. ITTF Star Awards
- The ITTF Star Awards is the official awards ceremony organised by the International Table Tennis Federation since 2013.
- It is the most prestigious award given to recognize, honour and celebrate the STARS of table tennis.
- Manika Batra (India) was awarded the ITTF’s Breakthrough Star Award 2018.
