1. National Wildlife Genetic Resource Bank

It is India’s first Genetic Bank For Wildlife Conservation.
It was inaugurated at Laboratory of Conservation of Endangered Species facility in Hyderabad.

2. President’s Police Medal

942 state police and paramilitary personnel will be conferred with service Medal.
Sharief-ud-din Ganaie(CRPF) and Mohd Tafail(CRPF) will be conferred the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry posthumously.

3. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana’s CEO

Ministry of AYUSH launched a scheme to promote ‘Pharmacovigilance of AYUSH Drugs’.

Vienna is ranked first in Global Liveability Survey by Economist Intelligence Units.
New Delhi has topped in South Asia, overall 112th rank in the list.

2. Australia’s adoption programme with India

Australia has decided to restart the Adoption Programme with India.
It was on hold for 8 Years due to allegations of child trafficking.

3. Rs 70 against 1 USD

Indian Rupee is on a record low of 70 against the US dollar.
Possible reason may be ongoing financial crisis in Turkey’s Lira(Currency) fell 45% to USD.
