2. Dan David Prize 2020

  • Feminist scholar, activist Gita Sen from India has won the prestigious Dan David Prize 2020.
  • Gita Sen is an Indian feminist scholar. She is a Distinguished Professor & Director at the Ramalingaswami Centre on Equity & Social Determinants of Health, at the Public Health Foundation of India.
  • The Dan David Prize grants annually three prizes of US$1 million each for outstanding achievement. Fields are chosen for Past, Present and Future. The Dan David Prize is awarded for innovative and interdisciplinary research.
