1. India International Convention and Expo Centre

PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for India International Convention and Expo Centre in New Delhi, on September 20.
The project is inducted by India International Convention and Exhibition Centre Limited.

2. ‘Strategic Base’ in Andhra Pradesh

Indian Air Force (IAF) is planning to have a ‘strategic base’ in Andhra Pradesh.

3. All India Pension Adalat

Dr Jitendra Singh has inaugurated the ‘Pension Adalat’.
There will be on-the-spot resolution will be offered to the grievance holder.
Dr Jitendra Singh is a Union Minister of State IC for Development of North-Eastern Region, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

4. ‘e-Sahaj’ portal

Government launched an online ‘e-Sahaj’ portal to grant the Security Clearance in certain sensitive sectors before issue of licence/permit, permission, contract etc.
Ministry of home affairs is the nodal Ministry for security clearances.

1. 62nd General Conference of the IAE

62nd General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was held in Vienna, Austria.
Dr. Sekhar Basu, Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy led the Indian Delegation.

2. Emmy Awards 2018

70th annual Prime Time Emmy Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

3. International Telecommunication Union (ITU)

ITU will establish a South Asia Area Office and Technology Innovation Centre at New Delhi.

4. World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)

7th UNWTO Global Summit on Urban Tourism is being held in Seoul, South Korea.
