1. President’s colours to Gujarat Police

Gujarat Police were honoured with ‘President’s colours’.
‘President’s colours’ is the highest honour given to a police force in India.
The previously awarded states were Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Tripura and Assam.
‘President’s colours’ is an emblem that will be worn by all police officers on the left-hand sleeve of their uniform.

2. Rankings under Mission Antyodaya scheme

Molugamboondi, Tamil Nadu has topped the 2019 rankings of Gram Panchayats under Mission Antyodaya scheme.
Mission Antyodaya is a convergence framework for measurable effective outcomes on parameters that transform lives and livelihoods.
Mission Antyodaya seeks to converge government interventions with Gram Panchayats as the basic unit for planning by following a saturation approach by pooling resources – human and financial – to ensure sustainable livelihoods.

3. Accessible India campaign

The deadline for the Accessible India Campaign has been extended to March 2020
Accessible India Campaign or Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan is a program which is set to be launched to serve the differently-able community of the country. The program comes with an index to measure the design of disabled-friendly buildings and human resource policies.

4. Bharat Vandana Park

Amit Shah has laid the foundation stone of the much-awaited Bharat Vandana Park in Dwarka, Delhi.
Amitabh Anilchandra Shah is an Indian politician and the current Minister of Home Affairs who has been President of the Bharatiya Janata Party since 2014. He was elected to the lower House of Parliament the Lok Sabha in the 2019 Indian general election from Gandhinagar.

1. Philippines to sign contract for BrahMos missiles

Philippines will sign a contract with India for two batteries of supersonic BrahMos cruise missiles.
The BrahMos is a medium-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarine, ships, aircraft, or land. It is the fastest supersonic cruise missile in the world.

2. World’s first Liquid Hydrogen Carrier Ship

Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan has debuted the world’s first marine carrier that transports liquefied hydrogen.

3. Exercise ‘Apharan’

The Indian Navy has conducted a large-scale anti-hijacking Exercise ‘Apharan’ off the Port of Kochi.
The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff, a four-star admiral, commands the navy.

1. Mastercard with BharatPe

Mastercard has selected BharatPe for its Start Path program.
Bharat Pe is the only company from India selected by Mastercard as part of the latest initiative.
BharatPe is a ‘Indian’ payments company serving the offline retailers and businesses. It empowers the merchants to accept UPI payments for ‘FREE’ through the BharatPe QR.

2. ‘JalSathi’ App

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has launched ‘Jalsathi’ programme to ensure supply of safe drinking water to all households in the state.

HDFC Bank has become the 3rd Indian firm to cross $100 billion mark in market capitalisation.

2. Tata Consultancy Services with a market cap of $114.60 billion.
HDFC Bank Ltd. is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It has a base of 111,208 permanent employees as of 30 September 2019. HDFC Bank is India’s largest private sector lender by assets. It is the largest bank in India by market capitalisation as of February 2016.
