DoT’s NTIPRIT, NICF, and WMTDC Merged into Single Entity
- The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has consolidated three of its training institutes—the National Telecommunications Institute for Policy Research, Innovation and Training (NTIPRIT), the National Institute of Communication Finance (NICF), and the Wireless Monitoring Training & Development Centre (WMTDC)—into a single administrative entity named the ‘National Communications Academy’ (NCA).
- This merger, effective immediately, was approved by the Minister of Communications (MoC) following the recommendations of the Committee for Organisational Reforms.
