2. A Committee to Draft Legislation on Mediation

  • Southern Command Chief Lt Gen SK Saini has been appointed as the Vice Chief Of Indian Army Staff.

4. Newly-created Department of Military Affairs

  • Senior bureaucrats Rajeev Singh Thakur and Shantanu have been appointed as joint secretaries in the newly-created Department of Military Affairs.

  • The 35th edition of India International Leather Fair (IILF) will be held from January 31 to February 3 in Chennai.

  • IIM Indore will provide effective communication and crowd management training to the Uttar Pradesh Police personnel.

4. Global Investment Trend Monitor report

  • The Global Investment Trend Monitor report compiled by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

2. Fit India Cyclothon

  • Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju flag off ‘Fit India Cyclothon’ in Panaji, Goa.
  • Kiren Rijiju is an Indian lawyer and politician from Arunachal Pradesh. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Rijiju is the current Minister of State of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs of India.
