Maharashtra Government has made the reading of the Preamble of the Constitution mandatory for the schools.

Southern Command Chief Lt Gen SK Saini has been appointed as the Vice Chief Of Indian Army Staff.
The appointment was made by the Department of Military Affairs headed by Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat.

4. Newly-created Department of Military Affairs

Senior bureaucrats Rajeev Singh Thakur and Shantanu have been appointed as joint secretaries in the newly-created Department of Military Affairs.
In Dec 2019, The Government of India had created the Department of Military Affairs, which is headed by Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen Bipin Rawat.

1. National Startup Advisory Council

Government of India will set-up National Startup Advisory Council to build a strong ecosystem to nurture innovation and start-ups in India.

IIM Indore will provide effective communication and crowd management training to the Uttar Pradesh Police personnel.

4. Global Investment Trend Monitor report

The Global Investment Trend Monitor report compiled by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
The Global FDI remained flat in 2019 at dollar 1.39 trillion, a one per cent decline from a revised dollar 1.41 trillion from previous year.
India is among the top 10 recipients of Foreign Direct Investment in 2019, attracting $49 billion in inflows.

2. Fit India Cyclothon

Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju flag off ‘Fit India Cyclothon’ in Panaji, Goa.
Kiren Rijiju is an Indian lawyer and politician from Arunachal Pradesh. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Rijiju is the current Minister of State of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs of India.
