India Launches Its First Battery Storage Gigafactory in Jammu & Kashmir
GoodEnough Energy has unveiled that its battery energy storage gigafactory, the first of its kind in India, will commence operations in Jammu and Kashmir by October 2023. GoodEnough states that this facility will enable industries to reduce their carbon emissions by over 5 million tons annually. India is aiming to achieve a net-zero status by the year 2070.
