- Rayyanah Barnawi from Saudi Arabia has set a new record by becoming the maiden Arab female astronaut to visit the International Space Station (ISS) through the Ax-2 private mission.
- Working in the field of breast cancer research, Rayyanah was accompanied to space by her Saudi compatriot, Ali Al-Qarni, who has a background as a military aviator.
- The Axiom Mission 2 (Ax-2) crew began their journey aboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket, launching from the Kennedy Space Center located in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
- Peggy Whitson and John Shoffner were also members of this pioneering crew.

- As of March 31, 2023, the total worth of India’s indigenous defense production reached 1.07 trillion rupees. This figure is anticipated to climb even higher once the contributions from certain private defense firms are added.
