1. IUC charge
- TRAI has extended six paise per min IUC charge to other networks till Dec 2020.
- The IUC is basically the cost paid by one mobile telecom operator to another when its customers make outgoing mobile calls to the other operator’s customers.
2. Withdraw 75% EPF if jobless for one month
- Ministry of Labour and Employment has amended the Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme to allow its members to withdraw 75% of money from the corpus if he/she remains unemployed for more than one month.
- The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (abbreviated to EPFO), is an organization tasked to assist the Central Board of Trustees, Employees’ Provident Fund a statutory body formed by the Employees’ Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 and is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

4. ‘India Cyber Cop of the Year’ Award
- CBI officer B P Raju has won the ‘India Cyber Cop of the Year 2019’ award by NASSCOM-DSCI.
- He was awarded for cracking a fraud case in an online entrance exam conducted by an engineering college in Rajasthan.

1. DSC Prize for South Asian Literature 2019
- Amitabha Bagchi won the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature 2019 for his novel ‘Half the Night is Gone’.
- The DSC Prize for South Asian Literature is an international literary prize awarded annually to writers of any ethnicity or nationality writing about South Asia themes such as culture, politics, history, or people. It is for an original full-length novel written in English, or translated into English.
2. Canada Pension Plan Investment Board with India Resurgence Fund
- Canada Pension Plan Investment Board will invest $225 million in India Resurgence Fund (IndiaRF).
- India Resurgence Fund (IndiaRF), an equal joint venture between Piramal Enterprises Limited and Bain Capital Credit, invests capital in the form of both debt and equity, in distress to control situations in the Indian market, through its flexible strategic model.

- Moody’s has lowered Its GDP Growth Projection for India for the fiscal year 2020 to 4.9%.

3. New Development Bank to invest in NIIF
- New Development Bank has committed $100 million to India’s National Investment and Infrastructure Fund’s (NIIF) Fund of Funds.

4. Axis Bank with Indian Oil
- Axis Bank with Indian Oil has launched co-branded credit card for cashless payments.

- Axis Bank is the fifth-largest bank in India offering a wide assortment of financial products. The bank has its head office in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

- Belgium has been crowned FIFA ‘Team of the Year’ for the second successive time.
- France remains in the second place ahead of Brazil in third.
2. Qatar International Cup
- Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu won the women’s 49kg category gold medal at the 6th Qatar International Cup in Doha.
- Saikhom Mirabai Chanu is an Indian weightlifter. A regular presence in international events since 2014 in the 48 kg category, Chanu has won the World Championships and multiple medals at the Commonwealth Games. She was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions to the sport.
