  • India’s duo, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, triumphed in the Korea Open 2023, securing their fourth title.
  • They overcame Indonesian top seeds Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto in the finals.
  • With this win, their victories extend to the Swiss Open Super-300, the Asian Championship, the Indonesia Open Super-1000, and the Korean open.

  • NITI Aayog’s Vice-Chairman, Suman Berry, concluded the Global Food Regulators Summit 2023.

5. Conference on Rural WASH Partners’ Forum (RWPF)

  • Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister for Jal Shakti, kickstarted a two-day conference at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi themed ‘Accelerating Progress towards a Swachh Sujal Bharat’.

6. Announcement of ‘Bomman’ Mascot for 2023 Asian Champions Trophy

  • Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Udhayanidhi Stalin, introduced the ‘Bomman’ mascot for the 2023 Asian Champions Trophy hockey competition in Chennai.
  • Six teams from the continent will participate, and the Tamil Nadu government has allocated Rs 17 crore for the tournament.

8. Expansion of Child Welfare Infrastructure
