2. Martin Peters passes away

• England World Cup winner Martin Peters has passed away.
• Martin Stanford Peters MBE was an English footballer and manager. As a member of the England team which won the 1966 FIFA World Cup, he scored the second goal of England’s four in the final against Germany. He also played in the 1970 World Cup.

3. Leander Paes to retire

• Leander Paes will retire from Tennis in 2020.
• Leander Adrian Paes is an Indian professional tennis player. Paes has won eight doubles and ten mixed doubles Grand Slam titles. He holds a career Grand Slam in men’s doubles and mixed doubles, and achieved the rare men’s doubles/mixed doubles double at the 1999 Wimbledon tournament.
