1. ‘Main Nahin Hum’ Portal and App

PM Modi has launched ‘Main Nahin Hum’ Portal and App which works on the theme ‘Self4Society’.
The aim is to bring IT professionals and organizations together and their efforts and service towards social causes and society.

2. Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti Award

H D Deve Gowda will be awarded the Sri Maharshi Valmiki award for the year 2018-19 by Karnataka Govt.
H D Deve Gowda is an Indian politician who served as the 11th Prime Minister of India from 1 June 1996 to 21 April 1997. He was previously the 14th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1994 to 1996.

3. TECH 2018, an international conference

UNESCO MGIEP with Andhra Pradesh Govt. will be organising ‘TECH 2018’ from 15-17 November 2018, at Novotel, Vizag, Andhra Pradesh.
The UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) is UNESCO’s category 1 Research Institute that focuses on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.7 towards education for building peaceful and sustainable societies across the world.

4. Harit Diwali-Swasth Diwali

Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change has inked campaign titled ‘Harit Diwali-Swasth Diwali’.
The aim is to reduce adverse environmental conditions especially pollution in the country after post Diwali celebrations due to excessive bursting of crackers.

1. International Dance Festival

It is a four-day international dance festival named ‘Udbhav Utsav’ in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
Uzbekistan Ambassador to India Farhod Arziev has inaugurated the event.

2. UN Award for excellence in promoting investments in sustainable development

Invest India has won the UN Award for excellence in promoting investments in sustainable development.
Invest India is a non-profit venture under Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

3. 2018 Seoul Peace Prize

2018 Seoul Peace Prize has been awarded to PM Narendra Modi.
The Seoul Peace Prize was established in 1990 as a biennial recognition with monetary award to commemorate the success of the 24th Summer Olympic Games held in Seoul, Korea

4. Foreign Labour Certification for the H-1B visas

TCS is the only Indian Firm among top 10 to get Foreign Labour Certification for the H-1B visas for 2018 fiscal.
This data has been released by US Department of Labour (DOL).
