7. Karumuttu T Kannan: An Era Ends
- The revered industrialist and philanthropist, Karumuttu T Kannan, has passed away.
- He was the linchpin of Thiagarajar Mills Ltd and played significant roles in Mumbai’s Textiles Committee and The South India Mills’ Association.
- Kannan also served as Thakkar of the hallowed Arulmigu Meenakshi Sundareswarar Thirukoil in Madurai.
