  • Qatar has banned goods from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Bahrain.

3. Ireland votes to overturn the ban on abortion

  • Earlier, abortion was allowed only if the mother’s life was in danger.

2. Only 2 public sector banks post profits

  • Indian Bank and Vijaya Bank have posted profits for the March quarter.
  • Public sector banks lost Rs.53,000 cr in March quarter compared to Rs.4,302 cr in the same quarter last year.

3. India 3rd most targeted country for phishing scams

  • Phishing accounted for 48% of all cyber attacks.
  • The US, Canada and Brazil were the other top countries targeted by phishing.
