- Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day is celebrated each year on 27 June.

1. Non-Permanent Seat of UNSC
- Group of Asia-Pacific at United Nations has unanimously endorsed India’s candidature for a non-permanent seat on United Nations Security Council.
- It will be for a two-year term 2021-2022.
- India’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to United Nations :- Syed Akbaruddin
- India has served as a non-permanent member of the UNSC for seven terms.
2. Miss Universe Australia 2019
- India-born Priya Serrao has been crowned Miss Universe Australia 2019.

3. White House Press Secretary and Communications Director
- Stephanie Grisham will be the next White House Press Secretary and Communications Director replacing Sarah Sanders.

4. 20th SAARC summit
- The 20th SAARC summit is the 20th meeting of the heads of state or heads of government of the eight SAARC countries after their previous meeting in Pakistan was boycotted by all SAARC members.
- The 20th SAARC summit will take place in 2020 at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
- The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) is the regional intergovernmental organization and geopolitical union of states in South Asia.
- Its member states include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

2. India’s 63rd Grandmaster
- Girish A. Koushik from Mysuru has become India’s 63rd Grandmaster at the 37th Balaton International Chess Festival in Hungary.
- Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a checkered board with 64 squares arranged in an 8×8 grid. The game is played by millions of people worldwide. Chess is believed to be derived from the Indian game chaturanga sometime before the 7th century.
