1. INS Kavaratti

Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) will deliver anti-submarine warfare stealth corvette INS Kavaratti to the Indian Navy.
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, abbreviated as GRSE, is one of India’s leading shipyards, located in Kolkata, West Bengal. It builds and repairs commercial and naval vessels. Presently GRSE has also started building export ships in a mission to expand its business.

Sunil Mehta took over as the CEO of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) replacing VG Kannan.

2. Fourth special open market operation

In the 4th special open market operation auctions.
RBI bought Rs 10000 crore worth of long-term securities and sold Rs 2950 crore worth of short-term government bonds.
An open market operation is an activity by a central bank to give liquidity in its currency to a bank or a group of banks.
Open market operations is a tool that the RBI uses to smoothen liquidity conditions through the year and regulate money supply in the economy.
Open market operations is the sale and purchase of government securities and treasury bills by RBI.
