1. Jal Itihas Utsav Hosted by National Water Mission

  • The National Water Mission of the Ministry of Jal Shakti hosted the ‘Jal Itihas Utsav’ in Delhi to promote water heritage site conservation.
  • Held at Shamsi Talab, Jahaz Mahal in Mehrauli, the festival focused on fostering responsibility, encouraging tourism, and supporting historical site restoration.
  • The restoration of Shamsi Talab and its park was a joint effort between the ASI and MCD.

2. UAE Announces Investment in ALTERRA at COP28

  • During COP28, the UAE declared a $30 billion investment in ALTERRA, a climate initiative by Lunate.
