• PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated Mahatma Gandhi Museum in Rajkot.
• Museum has been installed at the Alfred High School, which was an important part of the formative years of Mahatma Gandhi.

3. Review Committee for Competition Act – 2002

• Government has constituted A Competition Law Review Committee to review the ‘Competition Act-2002’.

4. Air Force Day

• Indian Air Force will be celebrating its 86th anniversary on 08 Oct 2018.

1. World Heart Day

• World Heart Day was observed on 29th September.
• It was launched by the World Heart Federation in 2000.

2. India’s Next Ambassador to China

• Vikram Misri has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to China.
• He is currently Ambassador of India to Myanmar.

3. SAFER by World Health Organization (WHO)

• WHO has launched SAFER Initiative with an objective to address the harmful use of alcohol, and achieve development targets.
• It will ensure Govt. to take steps to speed up the progress on health and beat non communicable diseases.

1. Amul – Modern Food Processing Facilities

• Narendra Modi has inaugurated modern food processing facilities at Anand Gujarat.
• The major attraction was Amul’s ultra-modern Chocolate Plant,Anand.

2. NITI Aayog with Oracle

• NITI Aayog and Oracle has a Statement of Intent to have a real drug supply-chain using block chain and Internet of Things.
• Apollo Hospitals and Strides Pharma Sciences will a partner in this.

3. Loo Review Campaign

• Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs with Google to launch the Loo Review campaign.
• The aim is to encourage all local guides to locate, rate and review public toilets on Google Maps.
• The toilet will be named as (Swachh Bharat Mission) ‘SBM Toilet’.

• Archer Deepika Kumari won bronze in World Cup Finals.
• Abhishek Verma won a bronze in the men’s compound event.

2. Bajrang Punia with JSW Sports

• Bajrang Punia has signed up with athlete management firm JSW Sports.
• He is current Asian and Commonwealth Games gold medallist.

3. 2018 World Wrestling Championships

• Senior World Wrestling Championships will be held in Budapest, Hungary.
• It will start from Oct 20 to Oct 28.
