1. PSLVC56 Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle’s Expedition

  • The Indian Space Research Organisation launched the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLVC56, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
  • The main satellite of this launch, DSSAR, leverages Syntheticaperture radar (SAR) technology to generate two or threedimensional visuals.
  • The mission aims to meet the imaging demands of Singapore’s governmental bodies and ST Engineering’s business clientele.

2. Release of ‘Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam: Memories Never Die’

  • The book titled ‘Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam: Memories Never Die’ was launched in Rameshwaram by Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, in July 2023.

5. 20th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s Conference

  • Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, inaugurated the 20th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association’s annual conference for the India Region in July 2023.
  • Main discussions centered on managing natural disasters, particularly in the northeast region.

6. Indian Women’s Hockey Team Triumph

  • The Indian women’s hockey team secured a win at the 100th Anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation International Tournament in Terrassa by defeating Spain with a score of 3-0.
  • Lalremsiami emerged as the star player, scoring three goals for India.
  • With this victory, India led the tournament leaderboard with five points from three matches, followed by Spain and England with four points each.

9. Financial Agreement with Asian Development Bank (ADB)
