1. Rescue of Workers from Uttarakhand Tunnel

• Smriti Zubin Irani, the Union Minister for Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs, introduced the Anganwadi Protocol for Divyang Children at Vigyan Bhawan.
• The program aims to improve the welfare of Divyang children and was attended by officials, experts, and stakeholders.
• Smt. Irani emphasized the support provided to over 4.37 crore children through meals, ECCE, take-home rations for younger children, and health monitoring for over 8 crore children.

2. Nepal’s Landmark in Same-Sex Marriage

• Nepal, which adopted a constitution in 2015 prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation, has become the first South Asian country to officially register a same-sex marriage.
• This historic marriage occurred in Lamjung district between Maya Gurung, 35, and Surendra Pandey, 27.

10. Launch of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

11. Approval of Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan
