1. Ram Rahim planned escaping from court

Gurmeet Ram Rahim had planned to escape from the court if convicted with the help of security men.

Including criminal breach of trust, cheating, forgery and counterfeiting, Rajasthan accounts for 18% of a total of 1.5 lakh economic crimes.
Uttar Pradesh is second with 9.7% and Maharashtra is third with 9.1%.

South Korea claimed that it has missile with top-level precision and power to strike any place in North Korea.

3. Malaysia sets boat ablaze for illegal fishing

Malaysia set ablaze a foreign boat for illegal fishing in its waters.
Porous borders pose a constant challenge for Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries which struggle to combat illegal fishing.

4. Pakistan’s govt collecting data on citizens suspected of waging jihad

This comes as a move to avert the threat of IS terror group in Pakistan.
Around 100 Pakistanis have travelled to Syria and Iraq to join the Islamic State since the rise of the terror group in the Middle East.

1. Deadline to link Aadhaar is extended

The central govt extended the deadline for linking Aadhaar with PAN up to Dec 31st.
The tax returns filed by taxpayers would not be taken up for processing unless Aadhaar is linked with PAN.

2. Billionaire sells property for $600 million

US Billionaire Carl Icahn sold the unfinished Fontainebleau resort in Las Vegas for $600 mn, nearly 400% of what he paid to acquire it.
His firm acquired the property out of bankruptcy for $148 million in February 2010.

3. Over 1.4% of demonetised Rs.1000 notes not returned: RBI

Post demonetisation, only 1.4% of old Rs.1000 notes have not come back into the banking system.
Further, the cost of printing currency has been doubled to Rs.7965 crore

Dhoni made his ODI debut in 2004 against Bangladesh has scored over 9,600 runs and made 377 dismissals.
He is the 4th highest ODI run-scorer for India.

2. 10-yr old to secure place in Guinness Book of World Records

G Devisri Prasad is preparing to secure a place in limbo skating.
