3.5 Lakh A.P. Farmers Benefited From PM Fasal Bima Yojana In 2022-23

  • During the financial year 2022-23, a total of 3,49,633 farmers from Andhra Pradesh benefited under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), receiving ₹563 crore.
  • Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ramnath Thakur, mentioned that the number of farmers enrolled in the scheme from Andhra Pradesh was 1.23 crore for 2022-23 and 1.31 crore for 2023-24.
