4. International Cricket Bid Farewell to Aaron Finch
- Aaron Finch, Australia’s T20 captain, announced his retirement from international cricket.

6. B.K.S. Varma’s Legacy Lives On
- Renowned Indian artist BKS Varma passed away in Bangalore, Karnataka, aged 74.
- His artwork majorly focused on societal and environmental themes, portrayed in a surrealistic style.
- He underwent artistic training under the guidance of A.N. Subbarao at a cultural arts institute.
- Throughout his career, he was honored with the Karnataka Rajya Puruskar (2001), Rajyothsava award (2001), and an Honorary Doctorate by Bangalore University in 2011.
