Article Title: Pakoranomics: Besanlal’s micro-view on budget macro-issues

Article Summary

BachiK arkaria in this sarcastic article gives us a fresh perspective about the Budget through the spicy words of Besanlal Bhajiawala. He explained some macro – economic terms (macro economics deal with the country on the whole) of importance through the lucidity of food items.

He compares balancing of the Budget with the no. of pakoras he has to make; as a surplus of pakoras would mean deficit and this deficit (leftover pakoras) means no income. He also commented on Aggregate Demand through his own rhetorical stance. While concluding he gave an honorable mention to humble Aloo- Pyaaz and it’s power to topple government; advised our Finance Minister (Mr. ArunJatiely) to be careful as the common man and commodities are price sensitive and may not go in favour with him, as there is a possibility of elections coming soon.
