Article Title: Loss of biodiversity is just as catastrophic as climate change
The article at hand expounds the view that biodiversity and climate protection are intricately interlinked issues, and both need to be acted upon with high urgency. The author provides examples of acute climate deterioration through anecdotes of his colleagues, and reflects on what that says about our handling of nature that provides us with so much. Natural calamities abound, and resources are under constant threat. However, in the face of all this, humans are yet to realize that biodiversity needs as much concern as climate reversal does, and they are only taking baby steps to protect biodiversity as of 2019. Biodiversity loss feeds climate change and vice versa, creating a vicious cycle that undermines human growth and protection. Change requires large scale amendments in how humans live life, but it is absolutely crucial. If we do not act in the limited time we still have, future generations will not have either moral, or food, or environmental, or social, security at all.
