Word-1: Ramifications
Meaning: Several complicated and unexpected results that follow an action or a decision synonym complication.
Synonyms: Consequence, upshot, complication, subdivision, extension, division, outgrowth, sequel, partition, radiation, swelling, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Despite the wide-ranging ramifications of the misappropriation theory, the lower courts have endorsed it in several important rulings.
2. A person’s level of g has ramifications for everyday life – in school, at work, and in personal matters.
3. As yet, nobody knows its ramifications, though it is clear they will be enormous.

Word-2: Deleterious
Meaning: Something that has a deleterious effect on something has a harmful effect on it.
Synonyms: Bad, destroying, destructive, detrimental, hurtful, injurious, mischievous, nocent, nocuous, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. To date, such monitoring has not revealed any harmful effects from the limited number of organisms which have been released.

Word-3: Perspective
Meaning: A particular perspective is a particular way of thinking about something, especially one influenced by your beliefs or experiences.
Synonyms: Angle, aspect, attitude, context, mindset, prospect, viewpoint, headset, landscape, objectivity, overview, panorama, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Recent events seem less serious when put into an international perspective.
2. Travel and see the world; afterwards, you can put your concerns in perspective.
3. Sometimes, you need to look at life from a different perspective.

Word-4: Dominations
Meaning: The state of having control over people or a situation.
Synonyms: Dictatorship, dominance, influence, oppression, repression, sovereignty, superiority, supremacy, tyranny, ascendancy, authority, command, despotism, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. They achieved political domination of the area.
2. The country longs to be free of colonial domination.
3. His defeat ended American domination of the sport.

Word-5: Toying
Meaning: To touch an object or move it around with your hand, without any purpose but while thinking about something else.
Synonyms: Fling, affair, relationship, seduction, a little on the side, amorous play, carrying-on, fooling around, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Laura was toying with her food and looking increasingly bored.
2. She was just toying with her food,[www.Sentencedict.com] as if she wasn’t really hungry.
3. He accused the young man of toying with his daughter’s affections.

Word-6: Proclaimed
Meaning: To declare publicly, typically insistently, proudly, or defiantly, in either speech or writing.
Synonyms: Assigned, authorized, charged, decreed, ordered, bid, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. All the countries have proclaimed their loyalty to the alliance.
2. The charter proclaimed that all states would have their government.
3. His manners proclaimed him a gentleman.

Word-7: Guardians
Meaning: A person with the legal responsibility to care for someone who cannot take care of themselves.
Synonyms: Angel, attendant, baby-sitter, Cerberus, champion, chaperone, conservator, cop, curator, custodian, defender, escort, guard, keeper, nurse, overseer, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. The Bedford Area Guardians Committee continued to exercise control over matters great and small.
2. The guardians of the status quo usually judge them to be beyond the pale.
3. To prevent change, the Guardians control all artistic activities to keep out provocative new ideas.

Word-8: Cognisance
Meaning: To notice and consider something, especially when judging.
Synonyms: Cognizances, cognizant, recognizance, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Translation: As Minister mentioned yesterday, our approach to teaching CL must take cognizance of the diverse language abilities of our students and the increasingly varied language backgrounds.
2. Each Quaestio had confined itself to the crimes committed to its cognizance by its charter.
3. When choosing surface finishes in a food factory, due cognizance must be taken of the type of food being handled and the type of operations to be carried out in each factory area.

Word-9: Colossal
Meaning: Of a bulk, extent, power, or effect approaching or suggesting the stupendous or incredible.
Synonyms: Enormous, gargantuan, gigantic, huge, immense, jumbo, mammoth, monstrous, vast, barn door, behemothic, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Indeed, even colossal traffic jams, for all their cost in wasted time, have failed to deter motorists.
2. These are colossal outbursts: a supernova may become at least fifteen million times as luminous as the Sun at its peak.
3. Such companies are highly competitive and welcome the colossal saving of time and money new methods represent.
