Word-1: Ostensibly
Meaning: In a way that appears or claims to be one thing when it is something else
Synonyms: Evidently, officially, seemingly, supposedly, at first blush, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. His stepdaughter also left – ostensibly for school.
2. Ostensibly, both oral and written questions seek information.
3. Ostensibly, this play’s purpose is to reflect society, but it fails to deliver the main point.
Word-2: Untenable
Meaning: Not able to be supported or defended against criticism/ incapable of being maintained, defended, or vindicated.
Synonyms: Unnotable, untenable, untenable, uneatable, unstable, unable, untellable, enterable.
Usage Examples:
1. The scandal put the President in an untenable position.
2. Today, however, such an assertion is wholly untenable.
3. She has made my position here in Hoch Hauser untenable.
Word-3: Theology
Meaning: It is the study of God’s nature, religion, and religious beliefs.

Word-4: Fallacious
Meaning: A mistake from too little information or unsound sources.

Word-5: Statutory
Meaning: Law or statute law is written law passed by a body of legislature.
Synonyms: Lawful, legal, judicial, rightful.

3. Because that would be contrary to our statutory duty.
Word-6: Supersede
Meaning: To replace something older, less effective, important, or official.
Synonyms: Annul, overrule, repudiate, set aside, supplant, usurp, abandon, desert, discard, displace, forsake, oust, outmode, reject, remove, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. The use of robots will someday supersede manual labour.

Word-7: Arbitrary
Meaning: Is existing or coming about seemingly at random, by chance, or as a capricious and unreasonable act of will.
Synonyms: Capricious, discretionary, erratic, frivolous, inconsistent, irrational, irresponsible, random, subjective, unreasonable, wilful, approximate, fanciful, injudicious, offhand, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. But these images were not arbitrary, let alone trivial.
2. Why not something else equally apparently arbitrary, such as blowing bubbles or dropping pebbles?
3. Any judicial act of line drawing may seem somewhat arbitrary, but Roe was a reasoned statement, elaborated with great care.
Word-8: Succession
Meaning: The right, act, or process by which one person succeeds to the office, rank, estate, or the like of another.
Synonyms: Sequence, series, concatenation, continuity.
Usage Examples:
1. Losing several matches in succession completely demoralized the team.
2. England has beaten the Welsh thrice with an aggregate score of 83-12.
3. He’s been hit by several injuries since joining the team.
Word-9: Fascism
Meaning: A political system based on a very powerful leader, state control, and being extremely proud of country and race, in which political opposition is not allowed.
Synonyms: Dictatorship, Nazism, right-wing dictatorship, totalitarianism, absolutism, authoritarianism, autocracy, despotism, jingoism, one-party system, party government, racism, xenophobia.

1. People began to crusade against Fascism.
2. Fascism cannot save capitalism but only hastens its destruction.
3. Fascism had lawlessly overthrown the democratic government.
