Word-1: Slumber
Meaning: Sleep is when someone is asleep/to dispel or forget by slumbering.
Synonyms: Coma, dormancy, stupor, doze, drowse, inactivity, languor, lethargy, nap, repose, rest, snooze, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. The sounds of communal slumber murmured and sighed through the cloth walls.
2. One by one, they drifted into slumber, becoming more difficult to rouse.
3. They were awoken from their slumber by a knock at the door.

Word-2: Mitigation
Meaning: The act of alleviating harmful or dangerous conditions or reducing the harm inflicted by them.
Synonyms: Cure, extenuation, moderation, reduction, relief, remission, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. In mitigation, Lawrence Hazell, for Muise, said he committed the offence because he owed some people ï¿¡110.
2. Defense counsel made a speech in mitigation.
3. Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

Word-3: Perpetrators
Meaning: A person who commits a crime or does something wrong or evil, the perpetrators of the crime.
Synonyms: Assassin, butcher, cut-throat, enforcer, executioner, killer, murderess, slaughterer, slayer, triggerman, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Perpetrators of such crimes are legally permitted shorter prison terms than those who commit similar crimes for other reasons.
2. The storm would imprison the coup’s perpetrators for twenty-four hours.
3. After all, it is not that the perpetrators of these shenanigans were indigent, let alone indentured enslaved people.

Word-4: Utterances
Meaning: Is a continuous speech, often beginning and ending with a clear pause.
Synonyms: Assertion, pronouncement, announcement, articulation, asseveration, declaration, delivery, discourse, ejaculation, expression, opinion, oration, peroration, rant, recitation, remark, reply, response, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Their collective utterances may help us to understand the meaning they wished to attach to this favoured term.
2. Such utterances, especially from a supposedly left-wing government, are revolutionary.
3. In his public utterances, Bohr was always very cautious about committing himself to what it is.

Word-5: Majoritarian
Meaning: Or ideology with the agenda asserting that a majority is based on religion, language.
Synonyms: Criterion, more daring, migratorial, more during, make a return, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. The statistical result shows that, after adopting the Mixed-Member Majoritarian System in the district Representatives, the dominant parties took advantage by attracting more votes than before.
2. The report is a reminder of the paradoxical relations in many parts of the world between majoritarian democracy and personal freedom.
3. Today, a plural society has posed significant challenges to majoritarian democracy, thus threatening the court’s role.

Word-6: Eschew
Meaning: If you eschew something, you deliberately avoid doing it or becoming involved.
Synonyms: Abandon, avoid, forgo, forswear, renounce, shun, shy away from, swear off, abjure, abstain, double, duck, elude, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Good kid should eschew bad company.
2. Such people tend to eschew suddenly popular names drawn from the entertainment world.
3. Some things are much better eschew than chewed; tobacco is one of them.

Word-7: Carnage
Meaning: The violent killing of large numbers of people/the flesh of slain animals or humans.
Synonyms: Bloodshed, butchery, crime, havoc, killing, mass murder, slaughter, slaying, warfare, annihilation, blitz, blood, butchering, extermination, gore, hecatomb, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Result: carnage averted, but father left in a state of deep physical and nervous distress.
2. TV cameras broadcast scenes of terrible carnage to U.S. audiences.
3. The carnage in the extensive light aircraft population at the Airport can be seen in the background.

Word-8: Apathy
Meaning: Behaviour that shows no interest or energy and shows that someone is unwilling.
Synonyms: Indifference, insensitivity, lethargy, aloofness, coldness, coolness, detachment, disinterest, dispassion, disregard, dullness, emotionlessness, heedlessness, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. Authoritarian management often leads to apathy among employees.
2. But apathy will be the real winner.
3. Worker apathy has been and remains rampant.

Word-9: Incongruent
Meaning: Made up of parts or qualities that are disparate or markedly lacking in consistency.
Synonyms: At variance, conflicting, contradictory, contrary, different, differing, disconsonant, discordant, disparate, dissonant, divergent, etc.
Usage Examples:
1. An equilateral triangle cannot be dissected into finitely many incongruent equilateral triangles.
2. The downside of object-oriented design is that such business objects can become muddied with mixed properties and operations that are incongruent with the object’s original intent.
3. Have you ever wondered why religious teachings are invariably mysterious, confusing, and internally incongruent?
