1. Decree
• A decree is a rule of law usually issued by a head of state, according to certain procedures. It has the force of law.
• The particular term used for this concept may vary from country to country.

• Mercury was the ancient Roman god of commerce and messenger of the gods, and the planet Mercury was named after the Roman god.

5. Ramshackle
• In a state of severe disrepair.
Usage: A ramshackle cottage.
Synonyms: tumbledown, dilapidated, derelict, ruinous.

6. Sabotage
• Deliberately destroy, damage, or obstruct something, especially for political or military advantage.
Usage: Power lines from South Africa were sabotaged by rebel forces.

7. Peter out
• To diminish gradually and stop.
• Dwindle to nothing.
• To tire or exhaust.
Usage: I’m petered out after that walk.

8. Fig-leaf
• A thing intended to conceal a difficulty or embarrassment.
Usage: The amendment was just a fig leaf intended to cover the cracks in the economy.

9. Digital divide
• A digital divide is any uneven distribution in the access to, use of, or impact of information and communication technologies between any numbers of distinct groups.
• These groups may be defined based on social, geographical, or geopolitical criteria, or otherwise.
Usage: The digital divide which separates people and regions also separates organisations

10. Incineration
• The destruction of something, especially waste material, by burning.
Usage: Waste disposal by incineration.

11. Revulsion
• A sense of disgust and loathing.
Usage: News of the attack will be met with sorrow and revulsion.
Synonyms: disgust, repulsion, abhorrence, repugnance, nausea.

12. Exasperation
• A feeling of intense irritation or annoyance.
Usage: She rolled her eyes in exasperation.
Synonyms: irritation, annoyance, chagrin, vexation.
