While watching this video, I just could not resist the temptation of using it for the word impale. And the fact that it is titled ‘Vlad The Impaler’ meant that this had to be used for sure.

The guy in the video is constantly trying to pierce individuals with the huge ‘spear-like pole’ he has in his hands.  This is what ‘impale; looks like in action. It’s gory and gruesome, isn’t it?

Dictionary Definitions for Impale:

1. Pierce with a sharp stake or point (verb)

2. Kill by piercing with a spear or sharp pole (verb)

Usage Examples for Impale:

1. I would impale a shrimp on a skewer for dinner.

2. The enemies of the Nazis were impaled and left to die.
