You know a woodpecker, right? It is a bird that drills holes through the bark of trees. Now, watch this video:

Our word of the day is impeccable. It means ‘flawless, perfect.’

And how can you remember it? Associate the pecc- part of the word with a woodpecker. So, think of impeccable as something which a woodpecker cannot peck at and which is therefore perfect.

Usage examples:

1. His dance was impeccable.
2. The official had an impeccable service record. Not one person had ever complained against him.
3. The actor was impeccable in his dialogue delivery.
