A group of three or four has to be selected from seven persons. Among the seven are two women : Poonam and Lavina, and five men : Rahul, Ritraj, Dheeraj, Pintoo and Raju. Rahul would not like to be in the group if Ritraj is also selected. Ritraj and Raju want to be selected together in the group. Lavina would like to be in the group only if Dheeraj is also there. Dheeraj, if selected, would not like Pintoo in the group. Rahul would like to be in the group only if Pintoo is also there. Dheeraj insists that Poonam be selected in case he is there in the group.

Question 1: Which of the-following statements is true?
(a) Lavina and Rahul can be part of a group of four.
(b) A group of four can have two women.
(c) A group of four can have all four men.
(d) None of these

Question 2: Which of the following is a feasible group of three?
(a) Dheeraj, Rahul, Raju
(b) Pintoo, Ritraj, Raju
(c) Lavina, Dheeraj, Ritraj
(d) Poonam, Dheeraj, Rahul

Question 3: Which of the following is a feasible group of four?
(a) Rahul, Pintoo, Poonam, Raju
(b) Ritraj, Raju, Lavina, Dheeraj
(c)  Ritraj, Raju, Poonam, Dheeraj
(d) Poonam, Dheeraj, Rahul, Pintoo

Option (a) is not correct: Lavina goes with Dheeraj and Dheeraj does not combine with Pintoo whereas Rahul needs Pintoo to be there in the group. Hence this combination is not possible. Option (b) is not correct: Poonam and Lavina cannot be together because the third person in the group will definitely be Dheeraj. But the combination of three Poonam, Lavina, Dheeraj cannot be combined with any of the remaining four persons. Option (c) is not correct: Rahul cannot go with Ritraj and Dheeraj with Pintoo. Hence none of the options is correct.
