By: ‘Bachi Karkaria’

This extremely sardonic article is one that is meant to be read for sure. The article takes a look at insider trading, in a manner that the topic has never been previously explored. The article explores the different types of insiders and outsiders in the world of finance, politics, business and bollywood.

Summary:

An article with extreme sarcasm and dark-wit, this one makes for fascinating reading. It’s one article where you sit back and admire the writing skill of the author, the level of complexity it introduces and the analysis of the subject concerned is absolutely different and fresh.

Recommendation 2 from ‘Foreign Policy’

Article Name:‘Red moon rising’

By: ‘John Hickman’

The article states that it was in 2011 that Beijing announced its plans to put a man on moon by 2020 and its space agency also suggested there a station to be set up on the similar lines, as it is in North and South pole. However, the article states that still America has not given it a thought as there are chances that China might put a claim on a part of moon and capturing moon is not America’s plan. Further, the idea of capturing moon is not that wild, as during the cold war this idea was actually given a thought and to prevent that nothing of this sort happens The1967 Outer space Treaty was enacted.

Summary:

When you think you have seen it all, there comes a thing that just shakes you up from your sleep and the idea of capturing moon just falls into that category and when China is named in the process, you just have to laugh even harder, not because China cannot do it, but because China is the only one who can initiate such a thing.

Recommendation 3 from ‘The New York Times’

Article Name:‘In need, in New York’

By: ‘Alex Miller’

The article is written about and by a navy veteran who after serving in the navy did some odd jobs for sometime and then came to a point that he couldn’t find a job anymore. And now time has come that he cannot even pay rent anymore. At present staying in a homeless shelter he says he experienced the frustrations of veterans first hand. According to him social workers who didn’t have any experience working with the soldiers came and told them to apply for food stamps and also warned that he would fail to find work. However, what the veteran states here is that he doesn’t need welfare, but all he needs is work.

Summary:

Well, it says it all, veterans who have served in some capacity somewhere, for the country, they atleast deserve some assistance in finding jobs. How easy it is for the government to not even find about these people. All they need is a job and some princely treatment.
