Of course, even if the food prices increase with the population even then the requirement for food does not decline. Giving equal property rights to women is an age old topic, which we all know is correct. Perhaps, that is the reason system of dowry began, as earlier there was no system of property rights for women. However, the point is there should be these rights, equally distributed over both the genders. Why discriminate? And moreover, its usually the women who suffer at the hands of tradition of the society.
