To be able to protest is the biggest strength of any democratic country, otherwise government will be nothing, but a dictatorship, which does not give any right to its people to voice their opinions and anger. As the article cites the example of various students who were prosecuted, it just points to the fact that in order to maintain law and order, government is taking it too far.

Recommendation 3 from ‘The Guardian’
Article Name:‘The Tyranny of a dog’s turds’
By: ‘Robert Hanks’
Dog poop is something that we all can relate with because sometimes we all have been embarrassed by our dog pooping in an inappropriate place. Then you cannot help, but look the other way and either flee the scene or bag it. Agreeing with the writer, sense of being a good citizen is sometimes not enough to overcome the humiliation that dog poop brings in the public, especially when you have to find it and bag it.
Summary:
No matter how much one loves his/her dog, when the moment comes that he/she has to pick up dog’s poop from a pavement, it is nothing but humiliating. The writer states the fact that it is good to own a dog, but it would be better not to own its shit. It also states that embarrassment creeps in when the owner does not come to know when his/her dog has pooped, which is followed by the long painful wait to locate it. When someone points it out for the owner, he/she is definitely filed with gratitude, which a non-dog owner cannot understand. The article begins with lot of bag filled with dog poop at the beach, so the writer comes back to it and says that, yes its disgusting, but in the same breath the writer supports the dog owners for doing their bit.
