4. B and I cannot be members of the same team.
5. If a team includes A, then it must also include B and vice-versa.
6. If a team includes one among H, I and J, then it must also include the other two.

Answers 1: (d) To solve this set, first of all scroll through all the clues given to you so as to get a clear picture of the scenario given. Now since the 6th clue has 3 members, hence for forming the largest team we should be including H,I and J. Now after choosing them, check the remaining clues again and see who else we can pick. From clue 4, it is obvious that we cannot select B as B & I cannot be the members of the same team. Since B is not selected, from clue 3, we can pick D and from clue 5, we cannot pick A since if we pick A then we would have to pick B too, which of course is not the case. From clue 1, since we have picked up H, hence we cannot pick E or G since exactly one of E,G or H could have been picked. Now from clue 2, we can pick either of C or F. Hence the final combination would look like – H, I, J, D, C/F. Hence size of the largest team would be 5 The correct option is (d).
