• The 7th edition OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting was held in Vienna, Austria.

2. International Mountain Day

• International Mountain Day is observed on 11th December by United Nations.

4. Lending limit for NBFC-P2P

• RBI has increased lending limit for Non-Banking Financial Company-Peer to Peer Lending platforms (NBFC-P2P) to Rs 50 lakh from 10 lakh.
• The exposure of a single lender to borrower is capped at Rs 50,000. This means that a lender on the P2P platform cannot lend more than Rs 50,000 to the same borrower across all P2P platforms at any point in time.
• A non-banking financial institution or non-bank financial company is a financial institution that does not have a full banking license or is not supervised by a national or international banking regulatory agency.

• World Anti-Doping Agency has banned Russia for 4 years from participation in global sporting events including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
